Overview

A public safety body needed an online portal for its operations: members, groups, content, events and reports. We designed and built the front end, the content and approval tools, the event calendar and the reporting, with the administration features behind them.

What we built

  1. Pages for the home page, reports, users, jobs and attendance, responsive and cross-browser
  2. News, articles, events and journals with dynamic content
  3. User management, registration, search and profile images
  4. Content management with a rich text editor, approval workflows and access rules by role and borough
  5. An event calendar with drag and drop, and event creation and editing
  6. Hourly, compliance, summary and per-borough reports
  7. Job and opportunity sections, a document store with permissions and a member search
  8. Attendance sheets and rules, and email alerts for friends and followers
  9. Super-admin and user-level permissions, rank and group management, and role reassignment
  10. APIs for users, forums, topics, comments and tickets, and deployment to staging and live
