Free website audit: SEO, conversion, AI search and measurement

Enter your website address and get an automated report on one page, usually in about a minute: the fixes that matter most, ranked by impact and effort. Your first report needs no sign-up.

One page per audit: usually your home page or a key landing page.

Free. We read only the public page you enter, plus its robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap. Your first report needs no details. See our privacy policy.

Want this report by e-mail?

We will e-mail you a PDF copy of this report.

We e-mail your details to our team; we do not keep them in a database. See our privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

What the audit checks

Four areas, scored out of 100, with every check listed in the report and the top five fixes explained.

SEO

Title, meta description, canonical and headings; whether the page can be indexed; robots.txt and the sitemap; structured data; and Google Lighthouse results on mobile.

Conversion (CRO)

A clear call to action near the top, form length, tappable phone and e-mail links, trust signals near the decision, and Core Web Vitals on a phone.

AI search readiness

Whether AI search crawlers may fetch the page, whether it answers its question early, who is behind it in structured data, and llms.txt.

Measurement

Whether a tag manager and Google Analytics 4 are detected once, a consent banner and Consent Mode, and conversion hooks such as forms, tel: links and a thank-you path.

How the audit works

  1. Enter one address. A quick security check from Cloudflare Turnstile runs in the background, so automated abuse cannot use the tool.
  2. We read the page the way a crawler does. Our scanner fetches that page, its robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap, and asks Google PageSpeed Insights to test it on a simulated phone. It does not log in, fill in forms or change anything on your site.
  3. The checks are scored. SEO, conversion, AI search readiness and measurement each get a score out of 100, and the five fixes that matter most are explained: why, how, and how much effort.
  4. The report appears on this page. If you want a copy, we e-mail it to you as a PDF. A later report from the same device or network asks for your name and e-mail first.

Measurement checks report what is detected or not detected in the page itself. Our guides to a GA4 event plan for lead generation and to what a website conversion review should check explain what to do with the results.

What it can and cannot tell you

The report gives automated signals, labelled as such. A manual review finds more.

  • It checks one page, not your whole site.
  • It cannot see whether your tags and events actually fire, or whether your consent set-up suits your visitors’ region.
  • It cannot see pages behind a login, checkout steps or how real visitors behave.
  • It cannot judge your offer, your prices or your message. People do that.
  • Sites that block automated visitors, or that only show content after JavaScript runs, give a partial report. The report says when that happens.
  • Scores are not a promise of rankings, traffic, leads or revenue, and we make no such promise.

Frequently asked questions

Is the website audit really free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. Your first report appears on this page without asking for any details.

What does the audit check?

One page of your website: SEO basics, conversion signals, readiness for AI search tools and whether analytics, consent and conversion tracking are detected. It also runs Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile. The fixes are ranked by impact and effort.

How long does it take?

Usually about a minute. Slow sites, or sites that take a long time to answer Google PageSpeed Insights, can take a little longer. Keep the page open and the report appears here.

Why do you sometimes ask for my details?

Your first report is shown straight away. A later report from the same device or network is shown once you give us your name and e-mail address. This keeps the tool free and limits abuse. Whenever you ask, we e-mail the report to you as a PDF.

What do you do with my details?

We e-mail them to our team with your report so we can send you the PDF and reply to you about it. We do not keep them in a database. We send other e-mails only if you tick the separate box for them. Our privacy policy has the details.

Will the audit improve my rankings or sales?

Not by itself, and we do not promise rankings, traffic, leads or revenue. The report points to problems worth fixing. Whether a fix helps depends on your market, your offer and how it is done.

Privacy: the audit reads only public pages. The tool keeps the address you audited and its report for 30 days so your report link works, and stores your IP address only as a one-way hash. Details are in our privacy policy.

Prefer a person to look at your site?

A manual review covers what automated checks cannot: your offer, your key journeys and whether your tracking really records every enquiry, call and sale.
