Overview
A+ Mobile Techs offers onsite IT support, data cabling and fiber optics, security camera installation and Starlink installation across the United States, and trades online as Nationwide Onsite IT Support Services. We built its website in 2024 on Laravel 11, together with an admin panel the company edits the site from. Each of the four service lines has its own home page, a by-state list and an all-areas list, and every state and area gets its own landing page for each service, generated from one route pattern instead of being built by hand.
The challenge
The business serves hundreds of locations across four service lines, so it needed a page for each service in each place without hand-building every page, and staff who are not developers had to be able to keep the content up to date.
What we built
- The public website: four service lines, each with a home page, a by-state list and an all-areas list, plus a website and software support page
- State and area landing pages generated per service from a single route pattern
- An admin CMS with sign-in for managing states and areas (including bulk import of areas from Excel), home banners, services, counters and gallery sections, menus, the footer, site settings and job openings
- Media gallery with multi-file upload and image alt text, assigned to page sections
- Per-page SEO meta titles, descriptions and custom meta tags, editable in the admin
- Contact and Join Our Team forms that send email, and a job openings section
- Scheduled commands that pre-render the state and area link lists into a Redis cache every 10 minutes and generate gzip XML sitemaps daily
- Cache handling that marks the cached lists stale when areas change
How a system like this fits together
Reference architecture: programmatic SEO website with a custom CMS
Simplified reference architecture, not a client schematic.
- Staff sign in to the admin CMS and enable states and areas, importing areas in bulk from an Excel file, and edit page sections, media, menus, the footer and per-page SEO meta tags.
- The CMS saves states, areas, page content and settings in the database.
- Scheduled Laravel commands read the areas and pre-render the state and area link lists into the Redis cache every 10 minutes, and generate the gzip XML sitemaps once a day.
- A visitor opens a service, state or area page. One route pattern builds a page per service line and area from the stored content.
- The contact form and the Join Our Team form send their messages by email through SMTP.
