Overview
A restaurant technology startup needed an app to take and manage restaurant orders. We built the Ionic-based iOS app with customer and item sections, receipt printing, notifications and card payments, plus the manager dashboard and web ordering that go with it.
What we built
- Order creation, delivery time handling and order listing for the manager dashboard
- Receipt printing to Star printers, including formatting and crash fixes
- Push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Card payments with Stripe Connect and Payjunction, with saved cards and refunds
- In-app purchases on iOS, Android and Amazon FireOS through Cordova
- Reports: daily sales, customers and order lists, with export
- Web ordering, with saved cards and design changes
- Force-update handling, order confirmation emails, geolocation and Google Maps changes
- Security work, including encrypted keys for the manager dashboard
