Overview
When we moved impingesolutions.com off WordPress we built it the way we build for clients. The Astro site is served from S3 through CloudFront with edge redirects; the contact form, website audit and consent records run as Lambda functions behind the same distribution; everything is defined with the AWS CDK; GitHub Actions deploys on each push through an OIDC role with no stored keys; CloudWatch alarms watch the forms and e-mail; secrets live in SSM and Secrets Manager.
What we built
- Astro static build on S3 behind CloudFront, with a CloudFront Function for redirects
- Lambda functions for the contact form, the website audit and consent records, reached through CloudFront only
- Infrastructure as code with the AWS CDK, including the content security policy
- GitHub Actions deployment through an OIDC role; no long-lived keys
- CloudWatch alarms and SNS e-mail for failures; secrets in SSM and Secrets Manager
