We are hiring Shopify developers specialized in web development for Shopify websites exclusively. This means that candidate should have unique insights and development experience compared to developers that don’t specialize in working on shopify projects.
They understand how shopify works, and have extensive knowledge of payment gateways, navigation, inventory systems, and checkout logic.
Job Description
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience working with Shopify Plus and Shopify APIs.
- 3+ years’ experience working with Liquid, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX as necessary
- Expert-level understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS .
- Experience with React (Next.js experience preferred).
- Experience with, REST APIs, webhooks, and microservices.
- Experience with cross-browser/platform code compatibility.
- Understanding of TDD and its value, as well as the ability to write effective unit tests.
- Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
- Know-how of debugging and testing software for cross-browser compatibility.
Responsibilities
- Ability to handle Shopify tasks independently.
- Good technical skills and logical ability.
- Creating/customizing/ Implementing Restful APIs in existing as well as new applications.
- Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines.
- Should have good communication skills.
- Should be able to provide complete solutions and design around Shopify implementation using headless approach.
- Should be able to lead subordinates and take independent charge of modules on the project.
- Should be able to effectively communicate with Client on regular basis.
